1. Introduction
Latrobe Pinboard is a local business board for Latrobe, Unity, and surrounding communities. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you visit the site, sign in, submit a business listing, or contact us.
2. Information We Collect
We collect information you choose to provide when submitting a listing, including your business name, contact name, email address, phone number, website, address, category, service area, business description, and business-card image. We also process limited technical information needed to deliver the site and maintain authenticated sessions.
3. Google Sign-In
Latrobe Pinboard uses Google Sign-In through Supabase Authentication to authenticate people who submit and manage listings. When you sign in, we may receive basic account information that Google and Supabase make available for authentication, such as your name, email address, profile image, and Google account identifier.
We use this information to authenticate your account and associate it with your submission. We do not request access to Gmail, Google Drive, contacts, calendars, passwords, or other Google account content.
4. How We Use Information
We use information to operate the board, review submissions, display approved business listings, respond to support requests, help prevent misuse, and maintain the security and reliability of the service. We do not sell personal information.
If you choose the optional marketing opt-in, the site owner can include your submission contact email in the mailing list and export it for that purpose. You can request removal at support@keystonedigital.app. We retain consent and suppression records so a later export does not silently add an unsubscribed address again. Marketing opt-in is not required to submit a listing.
5. User-Submitted Content
Approved listing content is intended for public display. This can include the business name, description, category, location or service area, business-card image, and any business contact information submitted for public listing display. Your submission contact name, submission contact email, and authentication identifier are used to manage the submission and are not published as listing contact details. Only the separate public contact fields you choose to complete are displayed. Information printed within your uploaded artwork will be visible with that artwork. Approved pages may also appear in search engines and link previews.
Please do not submit personal or confidential information that you do not want publicly displayed.
6. How Information Is Stored and Processed
Latrobe Pinboard uses Supabase for authentication and backend data services, including storage associated with business listings. New member artwork is stored privately while awaiting review. The site owner can access it for moderation; approved artwork is copied to public listing storage when published. The website is hosted and deployed through Netlify. These providers process information only as needed to provide their services to Latrobe Pinboard.
7. Service Providers
We use Google for sign-in, Supabase for authentication and backend services, Netlify for hosting and deployment, and Resend to send submission and correction notifications to the site owner and status updates to the submitting account’s verified sign-in email. These service messages are separate from optional marketing updates. Each provider’s handling of information is governed by its own privacy terms and policies.
8. Information Sharing
We share information publicly only when it is part of an approved business listing. We may share information with the service providers described above to operate the service. We may also disclose information when required to comply with applicable law, protect the service, or address security or fraud concerns.
9. Cookies and Authentication Technologies
The service uses authentication and session technologies supplied by Google and Supabase to keep signed-in users authenticated. Prepared submission artwork and form details are saved in this browser tab’s session storage to recover an unfinished draft after refresh. Drafts are scoped to the signed-in account and cleared on successful submission, sign-out, or discard. Drafts older than seven days are not restored; closing the tab normally clears its session storage, although browser session-restoration settings can preserve tabs. This draft is not a cloud backup. We do not identify any separate advertising or behavioral-tracking system in this application.
10. Data Retention
We retain submitted information for as long as reasonably necessary to operate, moderate, and maintain the board, or as required for legitimate operational, security, or legal reasons. Public listing information may remain visible while the listing is approved and active. Tracked artwork uploads that remain unreferenced for more than eight days become eligible for cleanup; referenced files and ambiguous legacy references are retained for review. We also retain submission status, moderation reasons and history, and notification delivery records needed to operate and troubleshoot the service. You can view your recent submission statuses and correction requests while signed in. Correction proposals, review decisions, meaningful listing revisions, and account submission restrictions are retained for moderation and support.
11. Account and Data Deletion
You may sign out at any time. To request deletion of an account association or submitted listing information, contact us at support@keystonedigital.app. We will review requests in accordance with applicable obligations and the information needed to maintain the service.
12. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures provided by our hosting and backend services to help protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
13. Children’s Privacy
Latrobe Pinboard is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the service, contact us so we can review the request.
14. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the service changes. The current version will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.
